How to choose
- Only therapy, or many specialties? Twofold and Freed cover several specialties. MentalNote, Supanote, Blueprint, Upheal and Mentalyc focus on mental health.
- Free plan or trial? MentalNote and Upheal have free plans; the others offer trials or free sessions. Upheal's free plan does not include live recording.
- EHR. For one-click transfer, look at Supanote Pro, Mentalyc or Freed Premier. MentalNote and Twofold rely on copy or export.
- Where you write. If your notes live in Microsoft Word, MentalNote has a Word add-in. None of the other product or pricing pages we checked on 14 October 2026 mention one.
- Price. For unlimited notes, Supanote Pro and Twofold annual cost less than MentalNote Premium. Blueprint charges per session.
