Use the subscription controls available in your Mental Note AI account. The free web-app tier includes 5 scribe sessions per month; the optional Word add-in has a separate allowance of 2,000 AI-writing words per month. Unlimited is listed at $49/month or $490/year. Using Mental Note AI
In the web app, start and stop an optional recording with appropriate consent, or type or paste a session summary. Choose an available workflow, generate a draft, review it, then copy or export it. Current options include SOAP, DAP, BIRP, GIRP, PIRP, Progress, Intake, and Treatment Plan. See Documentation for step-by-step guidance.
Privacy & Security
Before entering PHI, review the current Security, Privacy, and HIPAA pages and contact support to confirm that your account and BAA coverage fit your workflow. Start with non-sensitive sample content while your practice completes its review.

First, try closing and reopening Microsoft Word. If the issue persists, check your internet connection, as Mental Note AI requires an active connection to generate notes. You can also try clearing your Office cache by going to File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Trusted Add-in Catalogs, then clearing the cache. If none of these steps resolve the issue, try removing and reinstalling the add-in from the marketplace. Contact support@mentalnote.ai if you continue to experience problems.

Yes. You can cancel your Unlimited plan at any time with no long-term contract or cancellation fee. Your subscription remains active through the end of the current billing period, then reverts to the free web-app tier with 5 scribe sessions per month. The optional Word add-in has its own separate 2,000-AI-writing-word monthly allowance.
